En este trabajo deseamos presentar los avances logrados en la solución de un problema propuesto por R. Bellman en 1970 [1]. El problema de Bellman es: Dado un núcleo K(x,y) definido y continuo en el cuadrado I x I, I [0,1], encontrar un par de funciones continuas f(x) y g(y) tal que.
